Specialised care to meet specific needs
Care at Home specialises in providing support for elderly people to stay in their own homes. Additionally, we can also provide specialist care for adults of all ages with a variety of other care needs, including those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, complex and challenging behaviour, and sensory impairment.
Keeping elderly people safe and happy at home, for longer
Our home care team offers tailored, flexible, and cost-effective care that enables people to remain in their own homes, in familiar surroundings, for as long as possible. For people with dementia, who may find a change of routine and environment stressful, home care can be an ideal solution.
Supporting people with learning disabilities to live a full life
Our home care team supports people with a wide range of learning disabilities to live an active and fulfilling lifestyle, from the comfort of their own home. From support with daily living tasks to shopping, college, work or hobbies, our team can provide support tailored to each person’s needs.
Compassionate support for people with mental health needs
We support people with a range of mild, moderate, or severe mental health issues, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder. We focus on helping people to remain active and independent while maintaining their freedom. For families, this support provides reassurance that help will be on hand when needed.
Supporting people with physical disabilities to live independently
The support we provide for people with physical disabilities is fully tailored to meet each person’s particular needs, personal goals, and lifestyle. Ultimately, our support is designed to enable people to achieve quality of life, comfort, and safety within their own homes. This can include support with day-to-day tasks, or assistance with going out socially as well as for work/education.
Supporting people with sensory impairments
For many people with sensory impairments, especially those who are blind or partially sighted, being able to stay at home, in familiar surroundings, is especially important. Our home care team can support people with sensory impairments (affecting their sight, hearing, or both senses at once) to live independently at home.
Thank you for all the love and care you showed mum and dad. Thank you for helping to keep mum as independent as possible and allowing her to remain at home until it became tenable. Thank you for the dignity you showed dad and thank you for your love and support towards me. You showed me how to love and accept the person mum became and allowed me to become a daughter again.Mrs TJ, family member
